I know it’s required by law to use a commercial kitchen.
Some kind of certification in a sanitation class?
What other laws or requirements might one need?
Also, if it depends on the type of food being prepared?
Thank you in advance.
It depends on the city and county in which you’ll be producing the food. Most cities and counties have a health inspection system. You’ll need to contact the city and county government in the area in which you plan to operate.
At least one person on the premises needs to be certified in safe food handling.
It also depends on the methods you’re using to produce the food. You may need to have a Hazardous Materials certification to use certain methods.
Your customers may require additional certification — organic, hashgacha, etc.
I need a good answer on this one please. Their site does not contain places of their distribution companies, just their authorized retailers. I’ve tried looking through other hubs and couldn’t find anything either. Those "wannabe" wholesale sites are not what I’m looking for, nor any retail website. I’ve tried looking through the ASK community and couldn’t find anything decent either. Any good answers? Thanks.
I went to the Yellowbox site and emailed their contact center and never received a response. Did some more research and couldn’t find anything else.
So I went to Yellowbox and they had a contact point. That does not work?
a. They increase their purchase price by 1.5 times.
b. They double their purchase price.
c. They triple their purchase price.
Most will:
b. Double their purchase price
But this all depends on the product. IF you anticipate selling a large volume of the same item, you may increase the price by only 1.5 time, thus selling many more units and increasing your sales and profits.
Other products, where the item may be available only at your location locally, will triple or more the price, especially if it is in a high class store and not available for price comparison elsewhere.
I’m try to make a little extra money by selling things on eBay.
Try some of this sites..
We did try to make business with them. But some are good some are with flaws but already resolved.

Why do retailers not go directly to manufacturers and get the lowest wholesale price available.
Is there REALLY such a thing as a whole sale price?
What I mean by that is , is there a flat whole sale price for a particular product.Doesn’t it mostly depend on how much you guy from the manufactur, who you are, and where your located.
Ok,look at it from this angle. You are a manufacturer of jelly beans. It costs you .10 cents to produce 10,000 jelly beans, however, you now need to sell said jelly beans at a profit so you can be in business tomorrow to produce more jelly beans. So you sell them to a wholesaler for 10 dollars.A gross profit of $9.90.Now the wholesaler, who is in the business of buying, selling, and warehousing merchandise. They want to sell this new acquisition of jelly beans to a jobber( the store where the retailer buys jellybeans). They find a jobber who will buy them for (after long negotiations) $100.00.You see where this is going don’t you? Yes,a retailer can purchase directly from a manufacturer,if they have a place to warehouse, store, and maintain those jellybeans. That’s another expense in itself.Plus,as a retailer,I want to ,and reserve the right to,maximize my profits because I just took a bath on the 300 peanutbutter eggs that just fell out of fashion. In other words, what the market will bear.I hope this helps.
I am interested in buying shoes wholesale from China. Can someone provide me with a directory, website, or list of Sellers? How can I find out? I’ve already approached some Chinese, online retailers but I don’t think they quite understood what I was asking. I’m talking about fashionable shoes/boots for women…not athletic.
there are lots of wholesaler websites in china. but be careful about purchasing from them.. mostly there are lots of scams out there. I’ll recommend some of these websites that we already tried. Some went well but some with a little bit problem but already resolve.

I have a BJ’s in my area and was wondering if I would really save money shopping there. Is it worth it?
It’s worth it if you can change a few habits. You buy a big thing of chickenb breasts, and divide them up before you freeze them, tupperware comes in handy with most things, but if you willing to spend a little time at home with the groceries, then it’s worth it.
If your not willing to spend the time it isn’t worth it because you will throw so much away.
Hope this helps.

I am trying to start an online business selling Asian food. Before I do, I need to find the desired products at wholesale prices. Does anybody know where I can find a (reliable) wholesaler directory for international food products?
Also, are there more options that I’m not seeing? For example, can I hire somebody to find the products I want for me?
Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you!
(Note: When I look up wholesalers for the kind of product I want, one of the first options that comes up is www.Alibaba.com. I’ve read in a few places now that it is unreliable, so I’m counting it out as an option altogether.)
Thank you very much! Yes, I am in the US.
Where are you located? If you are in the US, I can name couple of companies.
