I want to buy in bulk and sell online. I can’t think of a good product that will sell. I don’t have the money to buy cameras or expensive electronics. I’m working with $10,000 +. Any good places to start? I don’t want to drop ship.
Most markets are flooded, so you need to look for a specific niche. I know those "green" technologies are sort of taking off right now. Perhaps you can also look into the organic foods market. Perhaps body building supplements are pretty popular. Also, take into consideration the current state of our economy. People are probably more willing to repair something they own than buy a new one. Perhaps OEM replacement parts for maintenance or automotive equipment. You should also look into pet supplies.
PS – Kudos on wanting to spend your money on creating value instead of using your money to destroy yourself. Remember, the moment you stop using your mind is the moment you default on life. Education never ends. You may want use a small amount of your money for books or maybe a seminar.
Good Luck,
Black

Well, I have my business license (tax ID # etc), and I’m trying to find a wholesaler in Illinois. I don’t want to deal with the internet, only because you purchase these items, and the cost of shipping adds up and you equal to a profit of nothing. I’m trying to find an actual wholesaler (besides Costco and Sam’s club). I’m not looking to drop ship because I have found many bad reviews. Can anyone help me?
Contact local high school and college art students. Offer to sell their artwork for a 50-50 split of the proceeds. That allows you to sell without paying for any inventory..

They are a wholesale and drop shipping company and I was wondering f anyone had any previous experiences with them. I am a bit unsure about it as they have a phone number and email address but no postal address.
They hide their address well, but it is there;
iF-Wholesale,
1 Willow Ridge,
Turners Hill,
Crawley,
West Sussex,
RH10 4PN
United Kingdom.
44 (0)1342 715562.
Suggest you check the Companies House website to make sure they are properly registered in the UK. I think they probably are, but there are dozens of these types of companies on the net and often when a dishonest company is shut down they open up again with a new name.
The other thing you should do is send them an email asking for references. No legitimate company should have a problem providing you with names of satisfied customers.
hi, i just want to ask you guys about drop shipping. what is drop shipping? i ordered something from ebay and this guys said he is doing drop shipping. i did little research to myself, and is it something about big wholesale people ship stuff directly to the customers, not the seller? is that good thing or bad thing? and by wholesale stuff… are stuff not 100% perfect?
i bought a white psp.. so are you guys saying the items from them are chep knock off? just in case, how do i know if it’s knock off? should i ask seller for refund?
It means the seller lists and sells item for the warehouse … when someone makes a purchase, then the seller notifies the warehouse, send them the amount due them for the item, and then they ship it out to the buyer.
Wholesale just means that the warehouse only sells to certain liscensed resellers and not the general public.
The only potential problem with this is that the warehouse usually has a number of drop-shippers, so the item could be sold out and no longer available, and the seller cant do anything about it but refund your money … which may take awhile.
