I am a department retailers, and I am willing to buy wholesale hundreds of empty wicker baskets for the festival promotion. Where can I find that exquisite baskets at a low price? Thanks for any suggestion.
Google your question and you will find many solutions.
However, I would like to recommend you to find empty wicker baskets suppliers at wickerchina.com. I heard that those suppliers and manufactures they themselves are the raw materials providers, so they can offer wicker baskets at low price.
I own a small clothing manufacturing company that sells clothing online to end-users. Recently I was contacted by a retail store who were interested in selling my clothing. What price do I sell it to them?
I realise it has to be less than the price I sell to end-user.
How do I calculate wholesale, distributor and retailer pricing?
Thanks
ultimatly what profit point you can make
I just started a store and would like to add some wholesale items to it, I want to shop on sites that do not sell to the general public. I am having a hard time finding them. I am in home furnishings, decor and garden. I refinish old pieces that I find and have a lot of antique hookups but wanted to add some new stuff as well. Any ideas?
in my personal point of view i think retailers will be much better
I will be selling a product I mfg to online retailers and bricks and mortor retailers (land based) I would like to know what a typical wholesale discount is. My product is a hand tool.
Take the cost to make your product, add your expected profit (the rarer it is or has a higher demand will mean more profit), then add 10-15%. That is a good start for your wholesale price. The more one company buys from you, then you can give them a better discount.
Lets say you make the only widget wrench, and it cost you $5 to make it( labor & materials). You want to make at least $2 profit (so your company can grow and make more). That is $7, then add 10%…so now it is $7.70 . Company A wants to buy 12 (1 case), but company B wants 20 cases. Company A will pay $7.70 each, and company B might only pay $7.00. Then if they buy more than that, you can offer more of a discount and still turn a profit
I need a good answer on this one please. Their site does not contain places of their distribution companies, just their authorized retailers. I’ve tried looking through other hubs and couldn’t find anything either. Those "wannabe" wholesale sites are not what I’m looking for, nor any retail website. I’ve tried looking through the ASK community and couldn’t find anything decent either. Any good answers? Thanks.
I went to the Yellowbox site and emailed their contact center and never received a response. Did some more research and couldn’t find anything else.
So I went to Yellowbox and they had a contact point. That does not work?
a. They increase their purchase price by 1.5 times.
b. They double their purchase price.
c. They triple their purchase price.
Most will:
b. Double their purchase price
But this all depends on the product. IF you anticipate selling a large volume of the same item, you may increase the price by only 1.5 time, thus selling many more units and increasing your sales and profits.
Other products, where the item may be available only at your location locally, will triple or more the price, especially if it is in a high class store and not available for price comparison elsewhere.
Why do retailers not go directly to manufacturers and get the lowest wholesale price available.
Is there REALLY such a thing as a whole sale price?
What I mean by that is , is there a flat whole sale price for a particular product.Doesn’t it mostly depend on how much you guy from the manufactur, who you are, and where your located.
Ok,look at it from this angle. You are a manufacturer of jelly beans. It costs you .10 cents to produce 10,000 jelly beans, however, you now need to sell said jelly beans at a profit so you can be in business tomorrow to produce more jelly beans. So you sell them to a wholesaler for 10 dollars.A gross profit of $9.90.Now the wholesaler, who is in the business of buying, selling, and warehousing merchandise. They want to sell this new acquisition of jelly beans to a jobber( the store where the retailer buys jellybeans). They find a jobber who will buy them for (after long negotiations) $100.00.You see where this is going don’t you? Yes,a retailer can purchase directly from a manufacturer,if they have a place to warehouse, store, and maintain those jellybeans. That’s another expense in itself.Plus,as a retailer,I want to ,and reserve the right to,maximize my profits because I just took a bath on the 300 peanutbutter eggs that just fell out of fashion. In other words, what the market will bear.I hope this helps.

I want to sell a product to retailers but I am not sure how much to put the wholesale price at. If something sells retail at $20.00 and the cost of manufacturing the product is $2.50, how much should the wholesale price be? Do I include shipping? Anyone a retail manager or buyer? Thanks for the help.
Very pleased to be able to answer this question for you, there is a site about wholesale online. after you view it , you will understand the product at wholesale price.
