I was looking to contact companies to see if they would drop ship their products to other customers at the wholesale price.

Would I need a business license to purchase and drop ship xxx corporation’s products at wholesale prices?

How about the same thing, only through one of the companies distributors?

What you usually need is a tax resale number so you will not be charged sales tax. Many companies will also ask for a federal tax ID number.

   Many Manufacturers/Suppliers would ask for a License to Buy at Wholesale Prices,it again depends on your Location (Country) whether they ask for the License or not.
