  • Can a retailer display the USDA logo on products, if bought private label (wholesale) from a certified party?

Posted by admin on November 8th, 2009 and filed under wholesale retailers | 2 Comments »

I am a retailer who buys products from a USDA certified private label (wholesale) company that is USDA certified and displays the USDA logo. Since I do no manufacturing of my own, am I able to display the USDA logo in my store and website?

Yes, You can. USDA Certification follows the product to the End User. Think of all the grocery stores selling USDA Products, they are not re-certified at the store level, yet cary USDA Certification.
