  • Why do so many companies not allow retailers on ebay?

Posted by admin on February 22nd, 2010 and filed under wholesale retailers | 1 Comment »

I am trying to start an ebay business so I can work from home and not send my kids to daycare. I have done all the preliminary work (gotten my tax number and all that) and am now applying w/companies to sell their products. It seems like everywhere I turn, companies are saying they don’t allow retailers to sell their products on ebay. Why is this? And if I can’t buy products wholesale, how can I ever make money on ebay? :(

I know my company does not allow me to sell our products on Ebay. We are a company built around people and not the internet. We are a direct sales company and our business is home parties and where we make the most money. You can’t get consistance sells through Ebay with many of the direct selling products.
