I have recently heard of people making a bit of money out of getting wholesale products and selling them..
How do you get into it and whats the risks behind it?
I have heard that going too my local secondhand shop and buying clothing from there and re-selling it on ebay is much the same as wholesale.. Is that true?
okay
you need to have a wholesaler, like go to alibaba.com
it helps also if you know what you’re selling (example, computer stuff like hard discs, monitors)
risk=reward

G’Day Mate,
It depends of the areas you have experience in?
Example selling chemicals – you can buy reject chemicals (chemically OK but may have a different perfume or colour than usual). You can buy them very cheap and make a very good profit.
if you like to know a name of a chemical company in NSW – just email me and I’ll be glad to help you.
Best of luck mate!

Try to narrow down what it is you want to sell (baby clothes) teen clothes, lingerie and join a whole sale forum -
through some research you should be able to find a supplier.
Make sure you get a reference – and you may need to wire money to import the goods (I found a great supplier in Sri Lanka) – years ago – it was very scary – by the time you pay to import the items – etc it’s still a bargain but a lot of hassle.
Your best bet is eliminating the headache and selling something that is ‘new’ and useful to everyone -
Although I believe the above I listed and your idea, have profit there is a lot of headache to it.
Your best bet is a whole sale forum – and lots of homework -
