  • Mattress produced by wholesale mattress company. Are you getting any quality for $325?

Posted by admin on November 20th, 2009 and filed under wholesale | 4 Comments »

A wholesale mattress company will be able to make me a full-size plush innerspring mattress for $325 (I don’t know yet if the price includes a box spring). The wire guage is 13. They make mattresses for the industry, but will sell to the public.

Do you think that a $325 mattress must not be a quality mattress because of the low price? I’ve seen full-size plush mattresses in stores selling anywhere from $600 to over $2,000.

I will take a ride to check out their mattresses, but meanwhile, I’d love some input about buying a mattress wholesale for $325 and what quality I can expect in the mattress.

I would just say don’t think just because a mattress has a big "Brand Name" on it that it is a good mattress. My husband and I purchased a big name mattress and it was a really inferior product. It was’nt their top of the line mattress but it cost $800.00 and it was terrible. My husband was basically sleeping in a ditch after a short time. We contacted the company and they sent out a representative who checked the mattress and basically said you are just stuck with it. I don’t know if I can say the company name so I won’t. But we just bought a beautiful new queen set that is very superior and it’s from a company named Stress-o-Pedic. I think the mattress your’e thinking of getting will be fine at that price for a full size.

When it seems too good to be true, it usually is. You are the one who be sleeping on it however. Buying a mattress takes some time and tryouts and even then it can be tough to be sure it’s really the right one for you. In the end, a mattress is something you shouldn’t skimp on unless you want to constantly replace it.

Yes you can expect the same quality. I too, went to check out a mattress that was originally 1400 marked down to 599 and was given an additional discount, and even though its not a simmons its a really nice bed! Basically if you go through a wholesaler its like going to a big lots, where they get closeout deals and can sell to the public for less. Thats great, because its affordable. Good luck to you.
